Center for Teaching, Learning and Academic Support computer labs are an excellent way to introduce your students to your course web page and course related websites.  The SSU campus also offers a variety of classes designed to help faculty with their teaching and research needs.

Some of the labs are used for classes as well as open hours. Schedules show when the labs are reserved for classes or other activities. When a lab classified as "general use" isn't scheduled for class purposes, demonstrations, or other, one may use it.

The CTLAS computer labs are for use by currently enrolled Savannah State University students, faculty and staff members. This policy specifically excludes alumni, former students who are no longer enrolled in classes at SSU, students from other colleges and universities and the general public.

Maintenance and support of the computer labs is provided by Computer Services at 353-5288.

How People Can Use CTLAS Computer Labs

For Teaching Classes

The computer labs are available to be used for teaching computer related classes. They are primarily used by academic departments and Extended Education for classes which require the use of computers or access to the campus network. They are also available to auxiliary and student organizations and administrative departments.

Individuals who wish to schedule class time in the CTLAS computer labs should contact one of the lab managers.

For Individual Use

When the CTLAS computer labs are not being used for classes they are available for use by individuals to use for course work, research, and to access the campus network. People using the labs are expected to adhere to the university's Acceptable Use of Computer Labs policy. Weekly lab schedules are posted in each lab.
