Future Plans
Additional objectives for advanced training are:
- To teach the faculty to use the Internet in research
- To teach the faculty and administrators to do web page design
- To teach the faculty how to use the Internet in course delivery (Blackboard Vista)
- To promote the University through web pages
- To work with faculty in development and implementation of technology in classroom
instructions (Blackboard Vista)
- To teach the faculty how to develop and produce multimedia CDs for instructional use
(Blackboard Vista)
- To teach the faculty to use multimedia packages in course delivery (Blackboard Vista)
- To develop a student course in development and production of multimedia CDs for
documents such as resumes and job applications
- To produce multimedia CDs for university promotion of academic programs and facilities
- To aid the faculty in learning to use commercial CDs and laser disks in instruction
- To work with traditional and non-traditional students with insufficient computer skills
