Computer Vocabulary Quiz 3

1.  Features in a word processing program that allow for changes in the appearance of text such as bold, italics, underlining.

2.  A term used when discussing high speed information networks which carry video and audio as well as computer data.

14.  To put text, characters or images from your clipboard into your document.

15.  Stands for Compact Disk Read Only Memory. An optical disk that can only be read from and not written to.

16.  Characters shown with thicker, darker strokes.

17. Making an object appear to have motion.

18.  A secret word or phrase used to access information stored on a computer or computer network.

19.  Resources you have to access through the Internet which includes online encyclopedias.

20.  A specific design for a set of letters and characters.

21.  Pictures and images.

22.  1. To change or make corrections in a document. 2. To make any change to the contents of a database.

23.  A collection of picture files that are stored on a disk or other storage medium that can be accessed. Individual picture files can be "clipped" and pasted into a document.

24.  To place text horizontally or vertically in the middle of a page.

25.  1. To highlight a section or whole document and leave it unaffected but make a duplicate and put it in another place. 2.To leave text, characters or graphics on your document and also place them on the clipboard.
