About the
ReWrite Connection

What is the ReWrite Connection?

The ReWrite Connection is a free tutorial service for all students at Savannah State University who desire to improve their skills in reading and writing. The Connection assists students in all disciplines with any part of the reading and writing process. Students using the ReWrite Connection work one-on-one with faculty and juniors and seniors who are skilled readers and writers. The Connection has a collection of reading and writing materials, including books, computer software, practice tests, grammar handbooks, and writing guides. The Connection also offers small group tutorial sessions.

What are the hours of operation, and what do
students need to do for assistance?

The ReWrite Connection is open Monday through Friday.  Hours may vary from semester to semester.  Tutors are available for thirty minute appointments.  To work with a tutor, students may stop by the ReWrite Connection (Whiting 125) or call (303-4353 or 303-4354).

Is the ReWrite Connection just for students?

Indeed not! The Connection is a place for faculty and staff desiring assistance with electronic or print based communications. The staff is committed to working with faculty from project conception to final presentation.

Where is the ReWrite Connection?
