This engagement has created a learning loop that strengthens
the program continuously. Come hear from the students how

We are Pleased to announce
an exciting new opportunity for full-time faculty and staff
at both of our universities to work together on what we
expected will be some extremely worthwhile projects: AASU
and SSU Collaborative Teaching and Research Grants.
The aim of this grant
competition is to strengthen the quality of teaching and
learning and/or foster research and scholarship at our two
institutions. You may, therefore, want to consider
opportunities for team teaching on both campuses or for
field trips involving students from two classes. Perhaps you
have a community project in mind, one that has a
service-learning component. Or you may have an idea for a
collaborative research project. The range of project options
and opportunities is as wide as your imaginations.
Please not that the
maximum grant available is $2,500. The deadline for
submitting applications is December 3, 2007, and projects
must be implemented during the spring semester of 2008. If
you have question about application procedures, please
contact either Dick Nordquist at AASU (921 5991) or Joan
Maynor at SSU (356 2178). |
