The Center for Teaching, Learning and Academic Support (CTLAS) is committed to supporting life-long learning, whether it be helping faculty to improve their teaching skills and modes of delivery or helping students to improve their academic performance. Such support is quintessential for recruiting and retaining both a vital professoriate and better prepared students. The Center's philosophy is that teaching and learning are "reverse sides of the same coin" or interrelated variables in the process we call "teaching and learning." Hence, the Center is an umbrella for a variety of services designed to support faculty development and student academic development.
